This cozy well insulated 3 bedroom house has had a lot of improvements since we bought it.We completely rewired the electric system and all plumbing is new which is something you don't appreciate until you experience problems. There's one bath with cast iron tub/shower and another with a shower only. Both baths have ceramic floors. We always professionally clean our carpets before new tenants.
The thing I love most about this house is the covered patio in the back where , even when it's raining, one can sit and enjoy the outside. It's a great place for an alfresco lunch on a perfect Oklahoma day. We installed guttering around the house as well as on the one car garage. We are proud that we tore out the old and poured a complete new garage floor and driveway, even adding more in front parking to accommodate 2-3 cars. We put down new sod and have had the grass sprayed for weeds.
The house has new nice appliances which include a stainless refrigerator with ice maker, gas range (stove), microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. In a room of their own sit the new washer and dryer. The attic has vast amounts of insulation and very soon the house will be resided with more insulation added. The backyard a chain link fence. Dogs and cats are allowed (sorry- no pit bulls) with a $200 per pet nonrefundable deposit. The one car garage is a great project room and large enough for even some weights or drawing table or ping pong...
Ceiling fans are in every bedroom and heat-vent-lights are in the bathrooms. Nice real wood cabinets are in the kitchen. The roof is just 2 years old. This location is just a few blocks from Walmart and other shopping and restaurants. You could easily ride your bike the 1.25 miles to OSU. Deposit is $1050 and that is the rent price as well. It figures $350/Person for 3 people plus bills.
Of course it has central heat and air and dead bolt locks at both doors. Quiet neighborhood with good neighbors. A park is a block away and the school district is Highland Park.
